MIYAGI- The mother of a one-year-old girl was arrested Monday for violation of child prostitution and pornography laws after she let a man perform obscene acts on the baby in front of her in Miyagi Prefecture.
According to police, the 31-year-old mother, who lives in Tokyo’s Adachi Ward, said she was desperate for quick cash when she met 46-year-old Hiroshi Hiromachi of Kita Ward on an Internet dating website in October. They agreed to meet in Miyagi.
The two were arrested for taking pornographic pictures of the girl, which were found on the Internet. Photos were also found in Hiromachi’s possession.
The mother was quoted as saying, “I needed money. She’s so small, I didn’t think she would ever remember it. I didn’t take my eyes off her the whole time.”
