For the last 2 days I've been watching trailers of animals movie. Why?

Someone shared a link in Facebook, and yes, I did check out some trailers about amazing dog stories/movies based on true stories.

Hachiko is a purebred Japanese Akita (type of dog), who was so loyal to his owner that he would wait for him to return from work, even though the owner will never be return anymore.

There is a movie call Hachiko-Monogatari (1987), where it tells most of the story about Hachi (the Akita dog) based on the reports, newspaper and people in town.

It's an old movie, but that's what I like about it. Old movies from 80's which are based on true stories are actually pretty accurate rather than the remake, which they shift the storyline a bit.

This very special friend would accompany his master to the train station every day and return each afternoon to greet him after work. Sadly his master departs one day, passes away and never returns to the station. Hachiko faithfully returns to the same spot at the station the very next day, and every day for the next nine years to wait for his beloved master. During his daily visits, Hachiko touches the lives of many who work near and commute through the town square. He teaches the local people love, compassion and above all unyielding loyalty. Today, a bronze statue of Hachiko sits in his waiting spot outside the Shibuya station in Japan as a permanent reminder of his devotion and love. [More detailed story about Hachiko, click here]

In 2009, Hollywood has produced the remake of this humble and beautiful story into the big screen. However, I haven't watch the American adaptation of the Japanese movie. But I do really wish to watch it.
