As you know from ANN or any other anime news updates, Highschool Of The Dead is in anime. Release recently in Summer 2010, and still on going (now the anime is still on Ep 10)

Honestly I haven't finish reading the Manga yet, but I heard from my friends about the anime has been released recently, so I check out the first episode.

Result?!!!! I mean my view?! I totally hate the animation!!! Not because of the graphic (which was quite ok, but I don't really care), but the animation as if the animation,......... (somehow I myself don't know how to explain)!

A well, let's say.......Too much boobs and pants!!! I as a young woman kinda really care about it, not because it's embarrassing, but what's so interesting about girl's underwear. Even yuri people not really interesting if it has TOO many pants. Well, but for sure it was specially made for guys.... (+_+')

From point of view (not really), the illustrator must be a pervert! Can't really say that the writer is pervert, but yeah! Which is pretty normal nowadays, where most anime and manga must have sexy girls with big 'twins' on their chest and view from below to show their pants. (+_+') Get a life!

Still I prefer reading the manga than watching the anime, cos every critical situation/moment of the scene MUST have the 'luring' view from the lower back, which is much less views (yeah yeah... I'm not horny, yet not a lesbian!)

Now that it is watermelon season, which has replace the pear and grape season.

I do really like watermelon that every time my relative when to any supermarket that we HAVE to buy one.
Unfortunately today I found out one of my friends does not like watermelon... reason? Too watery, not solid! (LOL)

In Japan, now that the season of watermelon, there are variety shapes of watermelon sold. With a VERY handsome price.

Photo below is a squared-watermelon which price at 20,000 Yen (USD 200), which caused me to REALLY open my eyes WIDELY.

There are also other shapes, such as triangle, pyramid, calabash and heart-shaped.

I found it really funny if i am to find someone willing to buy such stuff with that price.

Triangle watermelon is for 15,000yen each.
Calabash watermelon is for 15,000yen each.
Pyramid watermelon is for 20,000yen each.
Yellow watermelon is for 10,000yen each. 
Heart shaped watermelon is for 15,000yen each.

I am so excited about the upcoming event, which is the very 1st Culture Night by Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB).

During this night, there will be most of the clubs in ITB to perform based on their club.

So there will be (as much as I can recall):

> Gulingtangan Club

I cannot wait for this.

Ever wondering if you could live like characters in FFXIII? All you have to do is buy the 'potion'.

For the last 2 days I've been watching trailers of animals movie. Why?

Someone shared a link in Facebook, and yes, I did check out some trailers about amazing dog stories/movies based on true stories.

Hachiko is a purebred Japanese Akita (type of dog), who was so loyal to his owner that he would wait for him to return from work, even though the owner will never be return anymore.

There is a movie call Hachiko-Monogatari (1987), where it tells most of the story about Hachi (the Akita dog) based on the reports, newspaper and people in town.

It's an old movie, but that's what I like about it. Old movies from 80's which are based on true stories are actually pretty accurate rather than the remake, which they shift the storyline a bit.

This very special friend would accompany his master to the train station every day and return each afternoon to greet him after work. Sadly his master departs one day, passes away and never returns to the station. Hachiko faithfully returns to the same spot at the station the very next day, and every day for the next nine years to wait for his beloved master. During his daily visits, Hachiko touches the lives of many who work near and commute through the town square. He teaches the local people love, compassion and above all unyielding loyalty. Today, a bronze statue of Hachiko sits in his waiting spot outside the Shibuya station in Japan as a permanent reminder of his devotion and love. [More detailed story about Hachiko, click here]

In 2009, Hollywood has produced the remake of this humble and beautiful story into the big screen. However, I haven't watch the American adaptation of the Japanese movie. But I do really wish to watch it.

Another animals based-on-true stories that I want to watch is a 2004 release Japanese A Tale Of Mari And 3 Puppies (Mari To Koinu No Monogatari). Hoping to find the movie sooner. Read the story about mari and her puppies here

I was doing something to the newspaper in my kitchen when I saw an article about this fake cigarette.

An embedded camera will recognize your gender and age, allowing the machine to recommend a beverage suitable to whatever stereotype is attached to your particular circumstances. And don't worry, it'll store your purchasing history too, so you can be freaked out by tailored ads every time you use it. 500 more of these WiMAX-equipped units are planned to be installed in and around Tokyo over the next two years, with operating company JR East expecting them to tally up 30 percent more sales than their analog brethren. More bling equals higher revenue? Sounds about right.
